Anime Expeditions Carrot (Goku) Fighting Spirit Guide
Win Carrot's Trial for Medication. Three crits arm Battle Instinct. Fill fighting spirit to 30 and keep him on the first five.
Current for Update 1.0 (Warriors Saga).
This unit page belongs to the Anime Expeditions Wiki.
After the mid-Update 1 patch, Battle Instinct arms on three crits, not four. Those crits fill fighting spirit. At 30 stacks Carrot transforms. Players search Goku. The index name is Carrot. The evolved form is Carrot (Unleashed). Medication comes from Carrot’s Trial, not a map drop.
Mythic. Gale + Physical. Placement limit 3. Place cost ¥950. He sits on the first five of the tier list, behind Vegetable on the DPS row. He is not your first gem dump if Prodigy is still locked.
After the mid-patch
The old four-count is gone. Three crits now arm Battle Instinct. In the transform, fighting spirit drains slower than it did at launch. That is why he moved onto the keep-five after the patch.
Update 1.0 lists the same change next to The Drink mark cap and Bioinsect losing ally buffs. Do not rebuild a board from an Update 0.5 clip.
Fighting spirit to 30
Fighting spirit starts at 0.
| Trigger | Meter move | Why you care |
|---|---|---|
| A critical hit | +10 | The main fill. Three crits now come faster after the patch. |
| Carrot is debuffed | +20 | A status on him speeds the bar. Do not strip every debuff just to keep him “clean.” |
| Bar hits 30 | Transform | Stagger hits enemies in range. He becomes status-immune. +15% damage and +20% crit damage. |
| Bar empties | Back to base | The transform ends. Start filling again. |
Park him next to follow-up bodies such as The Drink. Drink’s mark and Carrot’s crit loop are different jobs. Vegetable wants this transform in range so patience can dump.
Medication from Carrot’s Trial
Own Carrot first. Open Quests. Open the Trial tab. Pick The Endless Fighter. The card says Win Carrot’s Trial. That clear puts Medication in your inventory.
This card is not the East Town event that pays Event Coins.
The trial hands a preset team. Gale is up. Hydro is down. Every pack carries a five-hit shield.
| After you load in | What you do | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Walk to the double bend | Skip the spawn hold | The packs take time to arrive. That is the farm window |
| Early waves | Three Stone Alchemist plus one Ramen Guy. Upgrade farms only | Cash for the later seats comes from those four |
| Corner | One Salmon Sorcerer | Slow buys the farms more ticks |
| Around wave 7 | Hero in the middle of the bend. Three Carrot copies stretched through that range. Three Cursed Student copies in the same range | Hero buffs Physical. Both units are Physical |
| First spend | Carrots to upgrade 3, then max the Hero | Upgrade 3 unlocks Spirit Barrage |
| Next spend | Cursed Students to upgrade 2, then 4. All three Carrots to upgrade 6 | Upgrade 6 unlocks Spirit Burst. Wave 13 is cash-tight |
| Wave 15 | After a leftover pile, max one Carrot and switch on the extra ability | The boss has shields. It can look like a leak until that shield drops |
Then open the evolve desk.
Unleashed relocate
Medication ×1, Sprite (Red) ×20, Sprite (Blue) ×20, Sprite (Rainbow) ×1, Gold ×10,000 → Carrot (Unleashed).
Instant Relocation unlocks at upgrade 8. Cooldown 20 seconds. You pick a unit or a spot inside his own range and stay there for 15 seconds.
- Relocate onto a unit: both fire a follow-up at 75% of their current damage.
- Relocate onto a spot: he follow-ups at 75% and gains 50% damage for 15 seconds.
Place the first copy. Fire Instant Relocation once. Then let the other two copies run on their own. Extra hops on a normal stage do not replace a keep-five board.
Three placements exist. Use them for coverage, not for stacking one sticker. Extra copies go into Ascension.
Spend gems here only after Prodigy, Puppet, and Dark Mage are online.
Where does Medication come from?
Carrot’s Trial. The quest name is The Endless Fighter. It is not a stage drop.
Is Battle Instinct still four?
No. Three crits arm it after the mid-patch. The transform still starts at 30 fighting spirit.
