Anime Expeditions Beginner Guide: First Hour Route

This page is a first-hour checklist for a new Roblox account. It is rebuilt from four English creator videos, not copied from their scripts. Every fact below is a creator claim or on-screen demo from mid-July 2026. Treat codes, gem costs, drop numbers, and unit ranks as possibly expired.

LapisMudkip recorded during EA Plus and said public play would start on the 17th (MLYskGTmWyc @ 00:09). That matches the 2026-07-17 public launch used as the authority date. The video itself is still a pre-launch walkthrough.

The four source videos are 30–33 days old. Launch-window code names from those videos are not on today’s Active list.

First 15 minutes

You spawn in the middle of the lobby (MLYskGTmWyc @ 01:02). An arrow points you at True Saint (also called True Saint Holy). That NPC starts Beginner Path / the main event. You can also open the same track from the Events tab (MLYskGTmWyc @ 01:14; 1I_fGFwVmKM @ 00:24).
You must pick a starter unit. FifeFam (2026-07-18) said those starters are not worth building around (1I_fGFwVmKM @ 00:13). Do not spend rerolls on them.
Open Events → Release Calendar before you start story. Creators showed daily rerolls, gems, and a free unit on a calendar day. FifeFam’s day-3 reward was True Saint as a usable unit for the first story chapters; a second calendar strip also paid gems (MLYskGTmWyc @ 09:07; 1I_fGFwVmKM @ 00:34). Calendar contents change. Re-check in-game.
Claim anything already sitting on the Events tab. SargantZafron showed several starter tracks plus separate event stages (example name from 2026-07-17: Master of True Love) (awTjOz07bnY @ 07:02).

How to redeem codes

UI (still the useful part): top-left three-dot menu → Redeem Codes (1I_fGFwVmKM @ 01:05). The click-by-click path is on How to Redeem Anime Expeditions Codes.

Rexon (2026-07-17) said the first action on a new account is “use every current code,” and that the live list is posted in the official Discord linked from the Roblox game page (4x90vxw1Hjo @ 01:09). Use Discord or the official wiki as a finder. Only redeem what is Active today. The dated Active / expired table is on Anime Expeditions Codes.

Do not redeem the July launch list as if it were current. FifeFam read these names on 2026-07-18: AE number one, release, sorry for bugs again, Expeditions (they said this one needed level 20), 100k!, 30k likes!, 200k CCU, sorry for restart, sorry for guilds (1I_fGFwVmKM @ 01:11). Checked 2026-08-17 against official wiki Codes/Main: 已变更. None of those names are on Active. Today’s Active names are update1, 2.5mgroup!, patch1.0.

After codes, Rexon’s next step was to spend the gems on summons (4x90vxw1Hjo @ 01:27).

Beginner Path and the first mythic

Beginner Path has five pages. Finishing a page pays beginner tickets (MLYskGTmWyc @ 01:35). Those tickets open the Beginners banner.

Numbers from July 2026 videos — default possibly expired:

10 tickets = one 10-summon on the Beginners banner.
25 tickets per finished page.
Pity: a mythic after five 10-pulls / 50 ticket summons, so pages 1+2 (50 tickets) guarantee one (MLYskGTmWyc @ 01:58; 1I_fGFwVmKM @ 04:47).

Rexon and FifeFam both said to finish chapters 1–2 for those tickets, then you can pause later chapters (4x90vxw1Hjo @ 04:15; 1I_fGFwVmKM @ 03:24).

Gem banner (not the ticket banner): FifeFam’s 2026-07-18 clip showed 500 gems for a 10-summon (1I_fGFwVmKM @ 01:58). Re-check the button before you spend.

An early quest asks you to summon 10 units and then awards Stone Alchemist, the farm unit used for story chapters 1–2 (1I_fGFwVmKM @ 02:14). Do that 10-pull even if the random units look weak.

Standard banner shows three featured units and was said to rotate in about an hour. Mini banner shows one featured unit and refreshes faster (Lapis guessed 10–15 minutes). Mini is a worse shot at one specific mythic (MLYskGTmWyc @ 02:27; awTjOz07bnY @ 01:44).

Story in hour one

Maps named in FifeFam’s 2026-07-18 video: School Grounds → Flower Forest → Rose Kingdom → Fairy King Forest → King’s Tomb (1I_fGFwVmKM @ 03:16).

All three later videos agree on the loop: clear Normal for first-clear rewards, then come back for Hard, which has its own first-clears and better payouts (4x90vxw1Hjo @ 04:56; awTjOz07bnY @ 07:29; 1I_fGFwVmKM @ 02:44). If a stage has stars, Rexon said each star paid 1 reroll (2026-07-17; possibly expired) (4x90vxw1Hjo @ 04:56). Sargant also mentioned 3-star goals such as delete or debuff 50 enemies (awTjOz07bnY @ 07:29).

If a Normal stage stops you, Rexon said to matchmake instead of forcing solo (4x90vxw1Hjo @ 03:01).

Farms, gems, traits, gold

Farm units (channel claims, July 2026): keep Stone Alchemist (Epic, Physical, generates in-stage credits) and Ramen Guy (Legendary) (4x90vxw1Hjo @ 04:33; awTjOz07bnY @ 00:57; 1I_fGFwVmKM @ 05:18). Put Investor on the farm. Two channels said Investor is +25% income. Sargant also cited Stone Alchemist base income 550 on 2026-07-17 — that number is unverified against Codes/Main and may be stale (awTjOz07bnY @ 05:27; 1I_fGFwVmKM @ 04:14).

Where to roll: Areas (purple menu) is the trait/stat desk (1I_fGFwVmKM @ 03:41). Lapis showed four mythic traits in the Index: a one-placement unique-style trait, Primordial (damage), a crit trait, and a DoT trait that also cuts cost. Hold the roll button to auto-roll (MLYskGTmWyc @ 05:33).

Stats: Stat Potential uses letter grades up to Z. Extra worthiness returns to the bar (MLYskGTmWyc @ 05:03). FifeFam rerolled toward A / green (SS above A), locked a good line, and saved leftover rolls for later units (1I_fGFwVmKM @ 06:01).

XP: open the unit → Upgrade Unit and feed XP items. Sargant said farm income does not scale with level, so dump XP on damage units. Some evolutions also need a level gate (awTjOz07bnY @ 04:10).

Index: claiming Index entries can pay gems and trait rerolls (MLYskGTmWyc @ 02:58; 1I_fGFwVmKM @ 05:44).

Gold Shop (Sargant, 2026-07-17): gold buys stat locks/rerolls, equipment locks/rerolls, sprites, trait crystals, and XP food (awTjOz07bnY @ 03:50). Stock rotates. Check prices in-game.

Team types: Sargant said to mix Storm / Magic / Physical instead of six copies of the highest rarity, because some stages favor a type (awTjOz07bnY @ 01:26).

Ascension: extra mythic copies go into Ascension for damage, not into the sell button. Lapis and Rexon both treated this as a mythic-only track. Sargant’s on-screen example (2026-07-17): Elf Mage 1-star needed 3 extra copies + 2 sprites (MLYskGTmWyc @ 04:33; 4x90vxw1Hjo @ 05:45; awTjOz07bnY @ 05:46). Those craft numbers may have changed.

Do not do this in hour one

Do not treat July 2026 code names as live (1I_fGFwVmKM @ 01:11).
Do not sell duplicate mythics (4x90vxw1Hjo @ 05:45).
Do not empty your trait-reroll bag on the first mythic. Rexon (2026-07-17) said secrets outscale mythics and that F2P should save rolls for secrets (4x90vxw1Hjo @ 02:19).
Do not spend XP on the farm unit (awTjOz07bnY @ 04:10).
Do not skip matchmaking when you are stuck (4x90vxw1Hjo @ 03:01).
Rexon said not to chase Doflamingo as a first banner target (4x90vxw1Hjo @ 03:32).

Unit targets — dated channel claims, not a live tier list

These are what each channel said in that video. They disagree. Do not flatten them into one ranking. Update 1.0 (2026-08-10) is after all four videos. Dated boards and the official role rules are on the Anime Expeditions Tier List.

Conflict to keep visible: Lapis listed Diane and Frieren/Elf Mage as launch core DPS. Two days later Rexon called Diane an early leftover and said Freya would not make a best endgame team.

Expeditions (not hour one)

Lapis could not enter Expeditions below level 20 (MLYskGTmWyc @ 16:50). After that, Rexon showed a payload-style mode with three difficulties. Your lobby traits are stripped. Defense was called easier than Assault (4x90vxw1Hjo @ 13:21). Leave this closed until the level gate opens.

After the first hour (pointers only)

Regular Challenge every 30 minutes (Rexon, 2026-07-17) for sprites used to evolve mythics (4x90vxw1Hjo @ 05:11). Interval may have changed.
Release Tournament: Rexon said you get Toy Maker just for playing, including a loss (4x90vxw1Hjo @ 10:32). Event may be gone after launch week.
Later loop from July videos: finish Hard story, then the launch raid for Kenpachi (and Ichigo per Lapis), then weekly raid-shop rerolls (MLYskGTmWyc @ 16:37; 4x90vxw1Hjo @ 06:11). Raid roster and shop reset are version-sensitive.
