Anime Expeditions Tournament Guide
Open Tournaments. Pick Solo or Duo. Stay until you die so the participate row counts. Read this week's Stage Effects. Spend Crowns in the Tournament Shop.
Current for Update 1.0 (Warriors Saga).
This route is part of the Anime Expeditions Wiki.
Stay until the match ends
Open Tournaments. The left list holds the live listings. Pick Solo or Duo. Press Enter Tournament. Stay until you die or the in-match clock ends. Walking out right after Enter does not count as a participate.
The score meter only fills while you are still on the map. A leave stops that meter and fills none of the rows below.
That one finish fills three rows:
- The Scholar’s Trial on Prodigy needs one tournament. Solo is enough.
- The tournament crystal row on the gem farm pays 5 for showing up, and more if you place higher.
- Crowns for the Tournament Shop.
Release Tournament is a limited listing on the same board. Read Time Left. If the card says Ended, skip it. Weekly Solo and Duo sit beside it. When Release is live, playing that listing out can still pay Toy Maker. When it is Ended, weekly Solo or Duo is the participate path.
Auto Play does not run here. The control can sit on the HUD. It works in story, raids, and Infinite Tower on the Update 1 page. It does not work in Expeditions or competitive modes. Raids sit on a different Play list. 8th Sword stays on the raid guide.
What the board is showing
The world board is the same contest as the menu. Solo and Duo sit on that board. Open Tournaments from the prompt. The full card — scoring, modifiers, resistances, and Enter Tournament — sits in the menu, not on the world plaque.
The panel is one weekly contest, not a story act. The map on the listing rotates. A School Grounds week and a Fairy King Forest week are not the same job.
Format. Solo is one player. Duo is a pair. Max players sit on the left card. You cannot take a Duo slot into Solo. A Solo score does not fill the Duo listing.
Time Left. Days and hours on that listing. This is the weekly window, not the match clock.
Highest Score. Your best finish on this listing so far this week. It is not last week’s first place.
Bracket. A random pool. Other brackets keep their own ranks. A reset wipes standings and assigns a new pool.
Scoring Condition. Damage Dealt or Enemy Kills. That meter is the only score that counts.
Game Modifiers and Enemy Resistances. Together these are Stage Effects. They push the listing past a story act on the same map.
Bracket ranks. Rank, participant, and score. Beat the names in your pool, not the whole server.
Enter Tournament starts the match. Leaderboard Rewards shows the rank piles. Open rewards before you grind.
Read this week’s card
Before Enter, read the card in this order:
| Read this | What it tells you | Why it comes first |
|---|---|---|
| Format | Solo is one player. Duo is a pair | You cannot take a duo slot into Solo |
| Scoring Condition | Damage Dealt or Enemy Kills | The board you place has to feed that meter |
| Game Modifiers | Rules such as Short Range, Bosses, No Farms, or Traitless | A last-week carry can fail this week’s rule |
| Enemy Resistances | Element multipliers on the stage | Leave a 0.5x type on the bench |
| Time Left | Days and hours on that listing | Do not grind a card that already says Ended |
Stage Effects sit on the card and again on Stage Info after you load in. Read both. The HUD can show the same multipliers a second time.
After Enter, stay on the clock
The listing’s Time Left is days. The match clock is minutes. Do not treat them as one timer.
| Clock | Where it sits | What it is counting | Why you must not mix them |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weekly Time Left | The Tournaments card | Days and hours on that listing | This is the window to enter, not the match |
| Match clock | The HUD after Enter | Minutes inside this run | This is the clock you must survive |
Once you load in you see Tournament [map] Competitive and Hard Mode. Watch the HUD, not the weekly card.
| On the HUD | What it is | Why you watch it |
|---|---|---|
| Health | Lives left on this run | A wipe ends the match |
| Wave and enemy count | The pack on the path | This is not the weekly Time Left |
| Match clock | Minutes inside this run | Stay until this clock ends or you die |
| Stage Info | The same modifiers and resistances | Confirm the card after you load in |
| Auto Play | A control that can sit on the HUD | It does not run in competitive |
You can pre-place a unit so it drops when the cash arrives. Stay on the map until you die or that match clock ends. Then the participate row can fire.
Your score stays in one bracket
A bracket is a random pool. Your rank is only against the names on that card. A first place in another pool does not move yours.
On reset the board wipes. You get a new pool. Last week’s first place does not carry. Highest Score on the card is this listing, this week.
Leaderboard Rewards is the rank piles for this listing. Open it before a long grind so you know what placement is worth. The names and scores on your card are the only bar.
Solo and Duo keep separate brackets. Play the listing the quest asked for. If the quest only says participate, Solo is enough.
When the rule flips
Do not copy last week’s board. The card names the job. Hover a modifier icon until the name is on the card. If Release says Ended, use weekly Solo or Duo.
| If this week’s card says | What changes | Why you change it |
|---|---|---|
| Bosses | You want bosses on the path, not a trash race | The score wants those bosses stacked |
| No Farms | Stone Alchemist income is not the plan | The modifier removes the farm route |
| Traitless | Traits do not apply | Unbound does not carry that listing |
| Short Range | Long-range sits move in | Range that worked in story can miss |
| Damage Dealt | Leak-clear is not the meter | Uptime on the scoring condition wins |
| Enemy Kills | A high-HP stall can score worse | Kills, not stall HP, feed the bracket |
A Bosses opener fails a No Farms week. A kill board fails a Damage Dealt week. Read the card again after a reset. Keep-five ranks stay on the tier list.
Crowns, shop, Toy Maker
Finishing a listing pays Crowns to participants. Crowns only spend in the Tournament Shop. They do not buy banner pity, raid totems, or gold-shop rows.
The shop sells unit indicator colors and a Crown cosmetic. Each of those rows costs 500 Crowns. The color does not change damage.
| Shop row | Cost | Why you buy it |
|---|---|---|
| Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, pink, purple, black, or white unit indicator | 500 Crowns | A color on the unit, not a damage stat |
| Crown cosmetic | 500 Crowns | The same price as one color |
Toy Maker is the tournament reward unit. One placement. No evolution. Play the match out so the participate row can fire. Skins on the same reward track include Ramen Guy (Sage), Salmon Sorcerer (Frog), and Elf Mage (Lunar). Those skins are not a second unit page.
Hour-one clicks stay on the beginner guide. Other quest boards can also ask for one participate. That row uses the same finish rule.
